Transorient was founded in 1961 by Zeki Pakyurek, Yekta Besen, and Saverio J. Azzoperdi to provide customs clearance and transportation organization services, aiming to facilitate the integration of trade between the East and the West. Since then, the company has solidified its leading position in the sector and become one of the key players in international transportation.
We Became a Leader in Breakbulk
We became one of Turkey's leading import breakbulk agents by establishing agency agreements with Menzies Group in the UK and DHL Heavy Freight in the USA.
We Obtained the R2 License
We gained the status of an international transport company by obtaining the R2 license under the Turkish Road Transport Law.
We Obtained ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 Certifications
We elevated our quality standards by acquiring ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications.
We Achieved Joint-Stock Company Status
We transitioned our company status from Limited to Joint-Stock Company.
We Obtained the GDP Certificate
We incorporated the GDP (Good Distribution Practices) certification into our system by meeting its requirements.
We Received the AEO Certificate
We enhanced our operational standards and reliability in international trade by acquiring the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification.
Our new name is TRANSORIENT GLOBAL LOGISTICS INC.

We Have Launched Our Biopharma Logistics Service
We have established our own specialized network to provide domestic distribution, import, export, and express courier services for temperature-sensitive and time-critical clinical research biological samples and medications.
We Started Intermodal Transportation
In 2014, Transorient entered the intermodal sector by partnering with European Container Services (ECS), the largest intermodal organizer and distribution network in Europe. This strategic partnership enabled Transorient to further expand and enhance its logistics and transportation services. The collaboration with ECS marked a significant step in the company’s transport and distribution operations both within and beyond Europe.

We crowned our customer satisfaction efforts with the ISO 10002 Customer Complaints Management System Certificate.
